Breaking down our NBA DFS picks for Tuesday, February 6th

With an 8-game slate on the books for tonight, it’s sure to be a high scoring night in NBA DFS. In this article, I will look to identify players that are poised to outpace their salary.

As a general rule of thumb, I am looking to get 5-to-6 times the salary.

For example, if a player is priced at $5,000 on Fanduel, he needs to score 25-30 points to truly reach value for your lineup. In order to place in tournaments, he will need to score even more than 5 to 6 times his salary.

High Value (Lower than $6K in Fanduel salary)

More from Sir Charles In Charge

  1. Mario Hezonja ($5,000) – Filling in for the injured Aaron Gordon, Mario Hezonja has been remarkable and has the kind of upside to swing your tournament lineups. He put up 39.5 points on Fanduel last night and Gordon has already been ruled out for Tuesday’s matchup. He should be a lock for 30 minutes and will be the first guy I insert into my lineups tonight.
  2. Josh Hart ($5,000) – Hart has been playing major minutes in his last two games with over 34 minutes in each contest. Hart was able to make the most of his minutes as he accounted for a double-double in each game, while averaging 14.5 PPG and 12.5 Rebounds.
  3. Josh Jackson ($5,900) – Jackson has been on fire as of late as he has four consecutive games over 20 points for the first time in his career. Ever since the Suns switched him to shooting guard he has been putting points up in a hurry and has a great chance to reach value at this price.

The Price is Right – ($6K to $8K in Fanduel salary)

  1. Kyle Lowry ($7,000) – The price has deflated too far on Lowry to the point where I cannot pass him up any longer. While his consistency has been a concern, he’s shown time and time again that he has upside of over 50 fantasy points. It should be a close game against Boston and he will be locked in as he duels against Kyrie Irving. Fire up Lowry with confidence as it will not take much for him to reach value tonight.
  2. Klay Thompson ($6,700) – Klay is another player where his upside is undeniable and in a competitive game against OKC, I expect Klay to get his shots up early and often. Call it a gut feeling but I think Klay goes off for 45 fantasy points tonight and rewards his fantasy owners with a show on national TV.
  3. Dario Saric ($6,700) – Dario is constantly a staple in my lineups because of his consistency and his ability to contribute in multiple categories. Tonight he goes against the Wizards at home on national TV and I think the Homie will come to play. He’s gone for over 30 fantasy points in 8 of his last 10 games and it would not shock me to see him above 40 fantasy points in an uptempo game against Washington.

My Lineup:

PG – Dennis Schroeder

PG – Kyle Lowry

SG – Klay Thompson

SG – Josh Hart

SF – Josh Jackson

SF – Mario Hezonja

PF – Kristaps Porzingis

PF – Dario Saric

C – Clint Capela
