The Cavs will end up empty-handed

The Cleveland Cavaliers have done a lot of talking, but when push comes to shove I simply don’t believe that they have the motivation to make any of the bigger moves. In order to get a deal for DeAndre Jordan or Kemba Walker done, they’d likely have to move the coveted 2018 Brooklyn Nets first-round pick.

And I simply don’t see that happening.

Cleveland will be in a lot of trade discussions leading up to the trade deadline, but I feel like they’ll end up making a small move or two. Think of guys like Tyreke Evans and/or George Hill. I’m talking about that level of talent, not necessarily those specific players.

Don’t expect a blockbuster move from the Cavs. Not this year.
