Stock Up: Los Angeles Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers might have made the best move of the day as they traded Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance Jr. for Isaiah Thomas, Channing Frye, and the Cavaliers 2018 first-round pick.

It’s been no secret that the Lakers wanted to move Clarkson and now that they have it appears they have enough cap space to sign two max contracts this offseason or next. They also received a first-round pick for this summer’s NBA Draft, which is shaping up to be a very deep class.

The Lakers are now lined up for the big moves to come to fruition. The books are ready. It’s now up to Magic Johnson to get it done.
