Stock Down: Isaiah Thomas

Last season, Isaiah Thomas was an NBA MVP candidate and a player who was looking at a major payday after his current deal was up.

However, after a severe hip injury and a terrible 15 games with Cleveland, Thomas is now going to have to prove that he is still that same player from Boston. He should get a better chance in LA as they don’t have a player who dominates the ball, like LeBron, which means he can showcase his game more but if his game doesn’t improve then it’s hard to see anyone paying him a max contract or even close to one.

It’s really quite amazing how much things have changed for Isaiah Thomas over the last few months.
