Nike Air Zoom Generation “Wheat”

LeBron James’ first signature shoe was the Nike Air Zoom Generation. When LeBron visited the Nike labs for the first time he told them he could play in anything, even a timberland boot. Less than a year later, Nike put a Wheat color on LeBron’s first shoe in anticipation for the 2004 Slam Dunk Contest. Even though LeBron wound up not participating, he wore the Wheat colorway for the 2004 Rookie Challenge.

The Nike Air Zoom Generation “Wheat” is re-releasing during All-Star weekend 14 years after they first appeared. This colorway of the shoe looks almost exactly like a Timberland boot color wise, with a Nike swoosh on the side. The shoe also features a tinted window on the back. Put all of that on top of the popular gum sole, and you have one of the best LeBron 1 colorways.

The Nike Air Zoom Generation “Wheat”  is available on Febuary 17th for $220 at Nike SNKRS.
