20. Minnesota Timberwolves: Shake Milton, SG/PG, SMU

Big Board Rank: 18

The Timberwolves have zero players on their bench that can score other than Jamal Crawford. Crawford has a player option next season, but is currently 37 years old. How much longer can he really play? It’s time to start looking for a replacement.

Shake Milton would be asked to take on a large role in the Timberwolves bench scoring. Hopefully Tyus Jones will develop, or they sign somebody so Milton won’t have to be completely ball dominant. He can be a ball dominant player but that’s probably not his strength.

Milton is a 6-foot-5 combo guard that plays both ends of the floor. He’s a good shooter with NBA length, and has a better handle and playmaking ability than most of the off ball players. Milton should thrive in a bench role in Minnesota eventually, if he doesn’t his first season.
