22. Milwaukee Bucks: Brandon McCoy, C, UNLV

Big Board: 25

It’s hard telling what the Bucks do with this pick. They don’t have much cap space to work with here so stashing this pick makes sense. Along with trading the pick down for a few second rounders. However, Milwaukee needs a big man and after the top 20 your selections on big men get very slim.

McCoy isn’t an overly long player standing at 7 feet with a 7’2” standing reach. However, his rebounding rate and his athleticism make him a highly regarded prospect, even though his stock is trending downward.

McCoy isn’t going to be a guy that comes in and helps right away. Hopefully the Bucks can develop him into a lob catching dive pick and roll man, and a rim protector. McCoy is extremely raw, but there definitely is potential there.
