27. Boston Celtics: Keita-Bates Diop, PF/SF, Ohio State

Big Board Rank: 26

Bates-Diop sort of fits the role of all the Boston players who have been drafted in the past two years. Keita is a long-armed combo forward, who can play and guard multiple positions.
Keita projects best as a small ball 4. Playing that position Bates-Diop provides a great fit defensively where the Celtics continue to gather players that can make them extremely switchable on defense.

Offensively he could take some less athletic four’s off the dribble, and shoot over all of them on pick and pop with his high release point. Keita Bates-Diop is a rotation player in the right fit, and the Celtics have done a great job of maximizing every players potential.
