2018 NBA Power Rankings: Have the Cleveland Cavaliers figured it out?

 18. Detroit Pistons (28-29)

Since trading for Blake Griffin, the Detroit Pistons are 6-3 and have climbed back into the Eastern Conference playoff picture. They are only 1.5 games back of the struggling Miami Heat and don’t seem like a long shot to make the playoffs anymore.

And the return of Reggie Jackson, who could return before the end of the regular season, could be the exact jolt in the arm that this team needs in order to secure their playoff spot.

The Pistons should not be overlooked in the East. And if they make the playoffs, they could be an interesting team to watch, depending on who they matchup with in the first round.
