2018 NBA Power Rankings: Have the Cleveland Cavaliers figured it out?
28. Atlanta Hawks (18-41)
The Atlanta Hawks were one of those teams that was desperately trying to sell some of its veteran pieces, but were unsuccessful. They did buyout Marco Belinelli shortly after the NBA trade deadline, but had much higher hopes for their return on certain players.
Atlanta is almost guaranteed a top 5 pick in a relatively deep draft, so that’s something to feel good about. But this team’s roster still has some pieces that don’t exactly fit with a long, deep rebuild.
Hopefully, after falling short at the trade deadline, they can correct some of that this summer.
