Coby White, SG/PG, North Carolina

Composite Ranking: 23

There seems to be a dispute on how tall White is, he’s listed anywhere from 6-foot-2-5. The height helps, but it doesn’t seal the deal for White being an NBA player immediately. He has elite quickness, is a blur in transition, possesses almost John Wall/D’Aaron Fox-ish speed.

He’s a very streaky jumpshooter. He only plays at that one high level speed and doesn’t change pace or use any shiftiness. His size is going to play a big role in his development, he’s more of a wing right now, but if he measures out at 6-foot-2 or 6-foot-3 he’s going to have to learn point guard skills.

If he ends up being 6-foot-5 he should project as a wing which is a more natural position for him. Overall, Coby White will always be a threat to be on an NBA radar with his speed, but he needs to add some strength and figure out whether he’s a point guard or a wing player.
