Burning Question: Does the Kristaps Porzingis injury change anything?

It’s always unfair to speculate how a player will return from injury, especially a major one, but it’s something that needs to be discussed. Especially when it comes to a franchise player, like Kristaps Porzingis.

The question for the Knicks is, does the Kristaps injury change anything in the rebuild? Tearing an ACL is no longer a death sentence in professional sports. However, bigs and lower leg injuries don’t exactly co-exist peacefully.

The hope is that Kristaps returns to full heath soon, and is better than he was before. But, as we’ve seen time and time again in the NBA, that’s never a given. It’s the cold truth.
