Sacramento Kings

Burning Question: Where’s the next franchise player?

Since the Sacramento Kings traded DeMarcus Cousins during last year’s NBA All-Star break, they haven’t been themselves. Sure, they’ve made the dubious moves during the offseason, but it comes without repercussions.

Does anyone really care what the Kings are doing, other than their fans? Without Cousins on their roster, this is a team that desperately needs a new franchise player – and fast.

The Kings need to figure out where they’re getting one, whether it’s via the draft of free agency. And good luck with finding one in free agency. So, in essence, this is a team that needs to knock the draft out of the park, something that they’ve failed to do since drafting Cousins.
