Burning Question: What’s the plan if LeBron James leaves? 

I don’t want to be debbie downer, but the Cleveland Cavaliers need to have a contingency plan if LeBron James elects to leave this summer. Because, if they don’t, this is the type of franchise that can fall into a dark place.

(see the first time LeBron left Cleveland).

The Brooklyn pick is a good starting point, but it can’t be the only plan in the even that LeBron leaves. The Miami Heat weren’t ready for LeBron leaving in 2014, and they still haven’t really recovered.

The Cavs can’t make the same mistake.
