Denver Nuggets

Burning Question: Assuming they make the playoffs, what next piece will be added?

Let’s be optimistic and assume that the return of Paul Millsap will carry this team back to the playoffs, for the first time since the 2012-13 NBA season.

But, after what will likely be a first-round exit, what’s next? What is going to be the next piece that the Nuggets add to this talented roster? Last summer it was Paul Millsap. And it was costly. This team might not have the money to do that during free agency, so does that open them to make a deal via the trade market?

Is that something Denver wants to do, or will they continue to bet on their young talent developing?
