9. New York Knicks: Colin Sexton PG Alabama

The Knicks could easily take Wendell Carter to produce a formidable front court with Kristaps Porzingis for many years to come. However, Colin Sexton just fits the whole New York Mentality perfectly.  Also, I think it’s pretty clear that Frank Ntilikina is more of a combo guard than a lead ball handler.

The combination of Sexton and Ntilikina could form one of the best defensive backcourts for a long time to come as well. With Sexton’s insane mental makeup (in a very good way) he embraces the spotlight in New York better than anybody else can in this draft. It’s hard to not see Sexton bringing excitement to the Knicks.
