I absolutely love this fit. Mike Budenholzer should feel like a kid in the candy store if the Hawks draft the Slovenian Teenage Sensation Luka Doncic. Doncic should be able to step in from day one, and be the best player on this struggling team. Also, Budenholzer should be able to run a lot of ball, motion offense for Luka.

Atlanta is currently 6th in the NBA in team assists. Doncic should be able to thrive in a team setting like that. Also, Luka Doncic takes a lot of pressure off of Dennis Schroder who currently has a 30.4 usage right. To put that into perspective that’s higher than Damian Lillard, Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, and many other all star players.
