23 and younger: The top of the NBA’s bright future

21. Dario Saric, Philadelphia 76ers

Saric is a fascinating player.

I’m not convinced that he should’ve won the NBA’s Rookie of the Year award last year as 76ers fans wholeheartedly believe.

He’s still really really good, though.

Saric reminds me of a Serge Ibaka type player, and if he can be consistent, the 76ers could be a real threat in the future if he’s their third or fourth best player. The high ceiling comp for Saric is really amazing: Kevin Love.

Why is Saric so low on this list if his high comp is Kevin Love? Because I’m leaning more toward the Ibaka route.

Regardless, he’s a huge help to the 76ers and their future plans (LeBron).
