Ryan Anderson/Trevor Ariza, Houston Rockets

Another two players that are very good role players on the same team are from the Houston Rockets. Ryan Anderson and Trevor Ariza have been fantastic throughout their careers, partly because they’ve accepted the roles that have been given to them. They both are averaging near 40% from the 3-point-line, which will only grow thanks to Chris Paul and James Harden’s greatness.

Defensively, Anderson is a really tough competitor, but lacks the athletic prowess to sprint up and down the court. Ariza fills that void. Trevor Ariza consistently locks down front and back court players and is a great example of a 3 and D role player.
