Wayne Ellington, Miami Heat

Three-point contest participant Wayne Ellington has been inconsistent throughout his career, but he’s found his home in Miami (a lot like E’tawun Moore for the Pelicans). Ellington is averaging career highs and is the Miami Heat’s leading scorer in the fourth quarter this season. Miami calls Ellington “The man with the Golden Arm” and when he makes 3 pointers you can catch the fans screaming, “It’s Wayning 3’s!”

If Ellington can continue his fourth quarter strides for Miami, they could be dangerous.

Along with Ellington, James Johnson and Josh Richardson of the Miami Heat have been doing everything possible for the Heat over the past few seasons. In fact, Miami is full of role players, which may be a large reason to why they’ve been sitting around the eighth seed for several weeks now.
