Redrafting the 2016 NBA Lottery, where Ben Simmons and Brandon Ingram topped an up-and-down draft class

You guys got your tissues ready?

The 2016 NBA Draft, in my opinion, has been one of the worst in recent memory. I know that it is still young in many of these players careers, but out of the top 14 picks, I can really only see three, MAYBE four potential future all-stars.

For the first time in the NBA lottery era, a second round pick was named Rookie of the Year. That award went to Malcolm Brogdon. For the year, Brogdon averaged, 10.2 points, 2.8 rebounds and 4.2 assists in 28 starts for a so-so Milwaukee squad.

If those numbers can win you Rookie of the Year in the NBA, than there really must’ve been something wrong here. Without further ado, I attempt to correct some NBA front office mistakes. Enjoy.
