Redraft Pick: Buddy Hield

Yes, I am still a believer in Buddy and you should be as well. Bursting onto the scene as a senior with Oklahoma and taking March Madness by storm, Hield had high expectations to live up to that definitely did not pan out with NOLA.

Now that he is in a low pressure situation in Sacramento, Hield is playing well and shooting even better. Labeled as a non-scorer after a half season with the Pelicans, this year Hield is turning in 12.7 points on 44 percent shooting from the field and 43 percent shooting from the 3-point range.

Given that head coach Dave Joerger, in Sac-Town, has some pretty antiquated rotation ideas, Hield is only averaging 24 minutes a game. I would love to see him getting Murray-like minutes in Denver with their spread out offense. He’s gonna be a factor one day.
