Denver Nuggets

Record: 35-30 (9th)

The Denver Nuggets can be one the most exciting and one of the most frustrating teams in the league. Just a few games ago, they looked like they had figured things out. They had started to look like the team they were at the end of last season, with Nikola Jokic really asserting himself.

Now, upon the return of Paul Millsap, the Nuggets have looked out of sorts and their playoff aspirations are in jeopardy.

If Denver doesn’t make the playoffs, it would put the organization in a tough spot. They have a young core that they are going to need to pay for soon. Will the Nuggets really want to approach the luxury tax for a team that hasn’t made the playoffs yet?
