Taking a closer look at the best-for-bang contracts currently in the NBA

Sometimes all you need is a few million to find a great player in the NBA. Don’t let these bloated contracts fool you, there are some real stars out there in the league getting peanuts comparatively.

A funny thing happened a few years ago in the National Basketball Association. Players started getting HELLA paid. All of a sudden you had players like Tristan Thompson, who has never averaged more than 12 points per game, making 16 million a year.

Allen Crabbe, with career averages of less than 10 points and under five rebounds per game, making nearly 20 million a year.

The list of bloated, undeserved contracts goes on and on, but there are some guys out there playing way above their pay grade. I present to you, the six best bang-for-buck contracts in the NBA today (excluding rookie contracts).
