1. Kemba Walker

Contract: 4 year, $48 Million

Stats: 22.7 PPG, 5.8 APG, 1.2 STLS

As I was doing research for this article, I came across the craziness that is Kemba’s contract. A multiple time All-Star making only $12 Million a year is completely unheard of in the league today. It’s bordering on highway robbery really, and the crazy part of it is, he STILL has a year left on this deal. The crazier part?

He’s the SIXTH highest paid player on his own team! The bottom barrel Hornets! An absolute heist for MJ and Charlotte. I literally had to triple check this to make sure it was correct. Marvin Williams, Cody Zeller, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Nicolas Batum and Dwight Howard all get paid more than Kemba.

As it stands today, he has the 98th highest contract in the NBA, yet has been an All-Star in back-to-back years. Come 2019, this man is about to get stupid paid by someone and I hope he goes to a team that can contend for a ring. He deserves it.
