Contract: 3 year, $24 Million

Stats: 23.1 PPG, 5.4 APG, 2.6 RPG

Having your best year at age 31 is like waiting until your senior year of college to play beer pong, but somehow being really, really good. It’s something that the NBA has actually never seen before. No one has ever averaged 20+ a game for the first time in their career, year 13 or beyond before. What sweet Lou is doing is unheard of.

That’s exactly why the Clippers signed him to a three year extension this season. Lou has them in the thick of the Western Conference playoff race when they probably shouldn’t be close, given all the hardships endured by them this season.

He’s nearly scoring a point per million a game this year. The Clips got him at a premium and in return are getting a spectacular year from the future 2017-18 NBA Sixth Man of the Year.
