6. Nikola Vucevic

Contract: 4 year, $53 Million

Stats: 17.3 PPG, 9.1 RPG, 49% FG

Speaking of someone who needs to be on a different team. Vucevic has been the only constant in the Magic organization now for the past few seasons, and really has nothing to show for it sadly.

A 27-year-old who has averaged a double-double for a season four times, you would think he’d be making some serious coin, right? Nope, he’s on a light $12.5 Million a year deal. He hasn’t sniffed the playoffs in his six seasons in Orlando and will continue not to unless a miracle happens.

Sadly, for us fans, he still has one more year on this deal and I would be surprised if the Magic made any moves to ship him. He’s a prototypical European big man. Big, strong, good footwork, solid fundamentals and can step out and hit some mid-range shots.

He’s an older Jokic with less vision, yet he’s still only 27. Vucevic is another guy that I would love to see on a contending team because I really think he could make a difference. He’s almost an afterthought because of how bad his team is, but I look for that to change come UFA time next summer.
