Michael Porter Jr.’s Second Half

Michael Porter Jr. started and played most of the second half. He was on a whole new level of scoring aggression compared to the first half. Michael really showed just how much of a grab and go threat. Most of the time he would take it coast to coast and either finish at the rim or get fouled.

Also, he had one pull up 3 off a grab and go that was NBA range which was really awesome to see. Porter had some tough finishes at the rim. It was also encouraging to see Porter knock down his free throws.

Defensively, Michael Porter Jr played a much better second half. He did a better job when he had to guard Florida State’s guards on ball. Porter also showed that if he gets beat off the dribble by a quicker player he can use his length to recover. His rebounding was also phenomenal. Porter does a good job of reading the ball and anticipating where it will go once it hits the rim.
