9. New Orleans Pelicans (39-30)

The New Orleans Pelicans may have lost DeMarcus Cousins for the remainder of the season, but that hasn’t stopped their push towards the playoffs. And a lot of credit has to go to Anthony Davis and Jrue Holiday, who have both had incredible seasons.

Davis gets a lot of the love, and deservedly so, but Holiday should get some recognition for his play this season too.

Depending on who they face in the playoffs, the Pelicans could make some noise this season. At the moment, the only sure things in the Western Conference playoffs are the Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets.
