Breaking down every team lottery team’s dream first-round selection ahead of the 2018 NBA Draft

We’re still a couple months away from the 2018 NBA Draft, and we’ve already rolled out three mock drafts, but there is still a ton that is unknown heading into the final few weeks of the NCAA basketball season.

On the NBA side, we pretty much already know which teams will and won’t be participating in this year’s NBA Draft lottery. With that said, the order – and its odds – are still left to be determined in the final few weeks of the NBA’s regular season.

As the 2018 NBA Draft continues to draw near, we’re going to take a look at every letter team’s dream – or ideal – selection in the first round. Keep in mind, this is not going to be an article of every team selecting Deandre Ayton or Luka Doncic. That’s not original, even if every team would take either one of those players.

But, to keep consistency here, we’re going to look at team needs, fits and overall situation in order to find every team’s dream fit in the first 14 picks. Here we go.
