Rebounding

Deandre Ayton led the Pac-12 conference and was 6th in the Nation in rebounds per game. Ayton is more than just a defensive rebounder. He is a good offensive rebounder averaging 3.3 a game.

With Ayton’s incredible leaping ability and strength, it makes sense for Ayton to be a complete rebounder. His physical and athletic tools help him to do a tremendous job of rebounding out of position.

Using his strength, length, and leaping ability, he has the opportunity to grab the basketball for the rebound at a higher point than his opponents and teammates. That’s exactly what Ayton does on this (above) offensive rebound against SMU.
