2. Danny Green, San Antonio Spurs

Stats: 8.8 PPG, 3.6 RPG

Danny Green is the definition of a perfect 3-and-D role player for the San Antonio Spurs. He and Gregg Popovich are the perfect matches when it comes to player and coach.

Green plays incredible transition defense and knocks down a bunch of open 3’s. He is averaging roughly nine points per game while averaging one steal and one block per game. Green has delivered time and time again for the Spurs – the both the playoffs and regular season.

He wouldn’t be anyone’s first pick in an open draft, but he’s definitely a championship player.
