NBA: The top 10 role players of the 2017-18 season
By Codi Benner
8. Tomas Satoransky, Washington Wizards
Stats: 7.0 PPG, 3.9 APG, 2.9 RPG
Tomas Satoransky kept the Washington Wizards’ season from being a total disaster when John Wall was injured earlier in the season. After the injury to Wall, many thought the Wizards would free fall down the Eastern Conference standings.
However, Satoransky stepped up and filled the Wall starting role nicely. He’s a very good defender, and is also a team-first player. Furthermore, he can knock down the 3-point shoot at a consistent rate, hitting on 46 percent of his attempts.
Satoransky, along with the ridiculous play of Bradley Beal, the Wizards are in good shape as Wall eyes his return.
