Coach of the Year

Winner: Brad Stevens, Boston Celtics

We are going back to Boston for this one. The Celtics have been through it all this season and
have managed to stay afloat thanks to the brilliance of Brad Stevens, The Celtics had a roster
overhaul before the season, which is extremely difficult for a head coach to manage, especially
when the team has a new star.

After Hayward went down the Celtics had every excuse in the
world to shift their focus towards next season, but Stevens rallied the troops and orchestrated a
16 game win streak. Despite the injuries piling up the Celtics have managed to stay among the
league’s elite.

Still only 41 years old, Stevens has climbed the coaching hierarchy and has
become one of the most well respected coaches in the league. Stevens gets the nod this
season and I suspect this won’t be his last time winning the award.

Runner Up: Dwane Casey
