Stan Van Gundy, Detroit Pistons

Seat Temperature: Cozy

Detroit Pistons owner Tom Gores only had one playoff appearance since he had ownership. It may be better off to get rid of Van Gundy or at least get rid of him as the president of operations.

There is only one year left on his contract, so they may just let him coach his final year. After a strong start, the Pistons came back down to earth, which is disappointing since they have an excellent frontcourt in Blake Griffin and Andre Drummond.

Certainly, Van Gundy is not the perfect coach, and the team had some bad luck with injuries. But this Pistons squad should at least be a 6 seed in Eastern Conference.
