Tyronn Lue, Cleveland Cavaliers

Seat Temperature: Warm

The only way Tyronn Lue may keep his job is by orchestrating another NBA Finals run for the Cleveland Cavaliers. With the highest payroll in the NBA, nothing less than a Finals appearance is acceptable especially when LeBron is on your team.

He is doing the most that he can with this aging roster but it’s a coach’s responsibility to play to players strengths, and it is something the Cavs are lacking. They are also one of the worse defensive teams in the NBA.

So far the Cavs are in the 3 seed and can easily fall further if they lose some games towards the end of the season. It will be interesting to see what Dan Gilbert does with this roster and coaching staff during this upcoming offseason.
