Teams are always looking for the next Kyle Kuzma, Draymond Green or Malcolm Brogdon. This year, there could be 5 second-round picks in the 2018 NBA Draft that could make immediate contributions

Finding a gem in the second round of the NBA Draft is like finding your future wife on Tinder. Yes, it’s happened, but more than often you’ll end up getting catfished with someone who looks great online but not so much in person.

The last few years, however, we have seen some second-rounders flourish in the league.

Just last year we saw our first second round pick, in the lottery era, become Rookie of the Year in Malcolm Brogdon. This year, the breakout star of the second round has been LA Laker Kyle Kuzma. There is talent to be had in the later picks of the draft every year and smart teams utilize these picks to bolster their roster, instead of waste them on future European and G-League players.

Let’s take a look at five players, who are projected to be second round picks in the 2018 NBA Draft, who could become studs in the league.
