Caleb Martin

Position: SG, SF

Height: 6-foot-7

College: Nevada

College Stats: 18.9 PPG, 5.4 RPG, 2.6 APG

The reigning Mountain West Player of the Year, Martin burst onto many people’s radars this month when he, and his twin brother Cody, led Nevada to an improbable sweet sixteen run complete with two late double digits comebacks.

A junior transfer from NC State, Caleb put the team on his back and in his first year with the Wolf Pack and led the team in scoring and was second in the conference in that stat as well. The ultimate combo guard at 6-foot-7, he shot 45 percent from the field this year and 40 percent from 3.

He has the strength and quickness to guard 1-3 on the floor and has the the ability to make plays from nothing. If he was a freshman with these stats he would be a no brainer lottery pick but at 22 (he’ll be 23 before next season starts) he’ll be a hidden gem second rounder IF he decides to test the NBA waters this summer.
