By Connor Harr
In our latest 2018 NBA Draft player profile, we take a closer look at Luka Doncic’s game and how he could be the best international prospect ever
The Luka Doncic hype train is starting to pick up even more steam. The Slovenian basketball prodigy originally held the No. 1 spot on our big board for most of the season.
Doncic has dominated the second best league in basketball better than any prospect to this date. Unfortunately, most draft heads do not get a real opportunity to watch him play because of the Euroleague schedule.

Strengths
Size/Frame
Contrary to the typical stereotype of most European NBA prospects being small, Doncic is the complete opposite. He stands at 6-foot-7 and a stalky 228 pounds. Having an NBA ready body and strength should help Doncic’s game translate better to the pros, on both ends of the court.
It will help him absorb contact on drives to the hoop and finishing at the rim. Along with being able to muscle up with opposing matchups on defense.
