Exploring seven of the most improved players from the 2017-18 NBA season
We are entering the home stretch of the 2017-18 NBA season. This season we witnessed many players that played above themselves from the previous season.
Many changed their play style to benefit their respected franchise. While others just became a whole new player that we have never seen before. This is a list of some of the players that improved the most over this season.
1. Victor Oladipo, Indiana Pacers
2016-17 Stats: 15.9 PPG, 2.6 APG
2017-18 Stats: 23.4 PPG, 4.3 APG
Victor Oladipo is the favorite to win the NBA’s Most Improved Player award this year. It makes sense to have him in the number one spot. Before this season we saw the potential in him as a player with his top of the line athleticism.
But he didn’t know how to use that ability to get by defenders and be a terror during the transition. He also had the ability with his ball handling and shooting ability. Then, this season he just exploded. He became an excellent number one option for the Pacers and also an above average defender.
His ceiling is limitless and should become an excellent franchise piece for the Pacers to build off of.
