NBA: 7 most improved players from the 2017-18 season
By Codi Benner
5. Julius Randle, Los Angeles Lakers
2016-17 Stats: 13.2 PPG, 48.8 FG%
2017-18 Stats: 16.2 PPG, 56.1 FG%
Julius Randle has been playing absurd basketball over the last few months of the NBA season. He has been playing offense at an acceptable level. His pick-and-roll plays and his defense has been his strong suit this season.
Randle has been playing to his ability which made him into a better player overall. He probably won’t be the best player on this Lakers squad but as he improves he will be an excellent second or third option player for a really good team in the future.
Randle is another restricted free agent that is going to warrant big money on the open market. Will the Lakers explore bringing him back?
