Sergio Llull

The Houston Rockets hold the rights to Llull, since purchasing them from the Nuggets in 2009 for 2.25 million dollars. Last year, they came close to an agreement but Sergio opted to stay in Europe and try to lead his beloved Real Madrid to another Euroleague title.

Unfortunately, he injured his knee while on international duty and was scheduled to miss the whole year. Nevertheless, Llull is more than an explosive player, a real dynamite when driving to the rim and a crafty finisher. Over the years the Spaniard moved to the point guard spot and developed his game even further, adding premier playmaking skills along with some pesky defense.

Last year he posted career highs in points per game with 16.5 and assists per game with 5.9. His wonderful year was capped with the MVP honors he received by Euroleague, the highest competition held in Europe. He belongs in the NBA and we hope he makes it this time.
