Adam Hanga

We must admit that Hungary is not exactly a basketball powerhouse and even a devoted fan would have trouble remembering if anyone from that country has ever played in the NBA (it has).

But Hanga is the prototypical 3-and-D swingman that is so coveted nowadays and the Spurs own his rights from 2011. He was a draft and stash project back then and it appeared he was ready to join San Antonio in 2017.

Hanga stated in this instagram post that he was led to believe he would have a guaranteed spot in the 2017-18 Spurs team but the Spurs backed down from their promise. The 28 year old player is under contract with Barcelona until 2020 but do not be quick to rule him out.

If the right opportunity occurs, Hanga will make the leap to the NBA and carry his elite defense and sniping prowess along with him.
