Mason Plumlee

Lowlight Track: “4500” Feat. Will Roush

Duke should take away any record of Mason Plumlee being apart of their program for the putrid 16 he spit on Will Roush’s track “4500” in 2015. He spits hall of fame bars like; “i’m with the water boy, Bobby Boucher/Evian bottles on replay/ no couver, no dusse, that agua needs two trays” & “It’s ya boy Plums, that’s my name/ money gun, uh uh uh, I’m plum dog millionaire.”

I think that this track was made in jest but the fact remains, Plums has zero bars and hopefully will not be pursuing a rap career anytime soon. If a Plumlee brother mixtape comes out in 2018, everyone run and hide.

Tony Parker

Lowlight Track: “Premier Love”

I don’t know French and I’m assuming most people that read this don’t won’t know most of what Tony Parker says in his music, but just based off of the beats and cadence, I’m gonna say that it’s all bad. Parker has only released one album, the aptly titled TP, in 2008 and because it’s all in French, definitely did not help his standing in the American hip-hop game.

Although it charted in France some of the lines that reside within this album just straight up don’t make sense to me. There is a line in there that roughly translates to, “What, you want to dance? No, it’s not worth it. Me, I’ll stay on the sofa, enjoying the vibe by raising my arms.” Sounds like a wild Friday night Tony.

Tony has sporadically released singles since this foray into music, including one with hip-hop heavyweight Fabolous, but has never managed to spark too much interest from fans. Remember, all of his music is in French, so maybe with an English version he can help his cause. Only time will tell.
