Los Angeles Lakers – Luke Walton

Luke Walton has given the Lakers an identity that they’€™ve embraced whole-heartedly. They place at an extremely fast-pace looking for threes or lay-ups.

Luke’€™s Lakers have won more games as the seasons go by and the next year should prove to be their best in a long while.

But if Magic had to choose between a superstar or a coach, he’€™ll pick the superstar. Walton is still an asset. Last summer, reports were coming out that if Paul George went to the L.A., he would want Klay Thompson joining him.

Luke Walton, of course, was assistant and interim coach for the Warriors during 2014-15,€” where Golden State won it all,€” and during the 24-0 run.

Having Luke Walton means that the Los Angeles Lakers can pitch to Thompson to sway more towards signing with a coach Klay’s known and a system Thompson’s comfortable with.

It is also important to note that Julius Randle and Luke Walton seem to have matches at the sideline during games and they don’t seem to have the best of relationships. When push comes to shove, who will Magic and Rob Pelinka choose between?

Luke Walton’€™s career with the Lake-Show is safe, but you never know in La-la-Land.
