There’s a high likelihood that DeAndre Jordan will become an unrestricted free agent during the summer. And if that happens, there’s a high probability that the Clippers will elect to move on from the big man.

Why pay DeAndre Jordan $20-plus million per year when you can pay Robert Williams, who would be on a rookie deal, significantly less.

Williams isn’t the player that Jordan is, but he can grow into that role with the Clippers.
