With the NBA being the third highest valued sports league in the world at just shy of $6 billion a year, it’s not surprising to see some players want a piece of that pie. Today, I take a deep dive into the interesting world of NBA LinkedIn pages
Isn’t it crazy that pieces of paper run the world? Whether it’s a check or actual currency, the paper chase has never been faster. Luckily for NBA players, that chase has become a little easier with bloated salaries and plenty of endorsements to be had. Still, players are at risk.
One false step away from their careers being changed drastically with injuries and other negative happenings. That’s why you see players like LeBron James investing in production companies and partnering with movie studios. Or guys like Jamal Mashburn franchising Outback Steakhouses.
Everyone these days seems to have a side hustle. Writing, for me, acts as my side hustle. When I am not hunched over my computer, fighting with the English Dictionary, I am hunched over my computer at my desk doing technical recruiting. With this position, comes A LOT of time spent on LinkedIn.
In my downtime, I like to search my old high school enemies to see if i’m doing better than them. I’m about 50/50 on that one. I also like looking up known people to see if they have any business ventures going on. With this came a deep dive on some current NBA players and what they have going on off the court.
