Is Luka Doncic getting cold feet over entering the 2018 NBA Draft? He says he has not made a decision either way, which could mean a number of things
Depending on who you ask, you’ll get a different answer. But even with every different answer you come across, the overwhelming opinion is that Luka Doncic is either the best, second-best or third-best prospect that is expected to be in this year’s NBA Draft class.
No matter how you slice it up, Doncic is expected to be one of the bigger faces of the 2018 draft class.
Interestingly enough, though, Doncic recently said that his NBA decision hasn’t been made yet and that there’s a chance he could play in Europe again next season.

"[via Eurohoops.net]“Ι’m not sure if these are my last two games [in EuroLeague]. We have yet to make this decision. Perhaps after the season,” Doncic said."
Before people start freaking out, I don’t think this is something that fans of the Phoenix Suns or Sacramento Kings – the two teams that now the first and second overall picks in this year’s NBA Draft – should be concerned about.
This is probably just something that Doncic is doing out of respect for the season. He is currently in the EuroLeague Final Four and wants to keep his focus there. For him to say that this is his final two games in Europe would do no favors for himself or his team.
Perhaps this is nothing.
Then again, on the other hand, let’s play the other possibility. Which is that he doesn’t want to play in Phoenix or Sacramento, and could be trying to scare them away from drafting him that early in the draft.
Using this Europe angle in hopes that they will get turned off by him could help him land to a franchise in which he would rather play with. You never know.

In the end, this is likely just a process. In an ideal world, Luka Doncic will complete his competitive EuroLeague play and then officially say that he’s ready to make the jump to the NBA. Just don’t be surprised if this drags out a bit more.
