5. Anything to stay one step ahead right?

In late 2013, early 2014, as a member of the NY Knicks, J.R. started to get bored at the free throw line. Instead of telling a girl courtside to give him a call after the game or commiserating with Spike Lee, he started to untie the shoelaces of his opponents.

It started with J.R. successfully untying Shawn Marion’s sneakers, was stifled by Andre Drummond in his second attempt and ended with a $50,000 fine from the NBA. J.R. justified his behavior by suggesting on Twitter that he does that, “every game.”

Considering as soon as he did it was all over the news the next day, I highly doubt that to be true. He has since tempered this behavior but it might not be a bad idea to try to tie Klay Thompson’s shoes together on the FT line this series.
