8. Cleveland Cavaliers – Collin Sexton, PG, Alabama

The Cleveland Cavaliers could very well be drafting the next face of the franchise when they select here at No. 8, depending on what LeBron James elects to do during free agency this summer. With that said, I fully expect them to target a point guard here.

And it really comes down to Collin Sexton or Trae Young. In the end, I bet that they take the safer of the two prospects. That, at least in my opinion, happens to be Sexton.

Sexton is, simply put, bigger and stronger than Young. That will end up being the difference here. He’s also a pretty good defender, if nothing else. Sexton carried Alabama during his freshman season, while averaging 19 points, four rebounds and four assists on 45 percent shooting from the field and 34 percent from 3-point range.
